VimalaVideo is part of the overall Vimala Archives but is maintained on a separate site from Vimala, Inc. The overall Vimala Archives project was established by the Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche in 1980 along with his first "town center", Orgyen Dorje Den (located in Alameda, California: http://www.orgyendorjeden.org/) and his "country retreat center", Tashi Choling (located in Ashland, Oregon: http://www.tashicholing.org/).

VimalaVideo is a separate 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, staffed entirely by volunteers and supported by the dharma community we serve.
